Since the actual laptop is at their shop lot, I had to come back some other day to collect my laptop, which means that I had to make another 1 hour trip again.
After several days, I finally got my laptop. Unfortunately, there was a problem with it and I had to make several trips back to the shop. And of course, the problem was fixed after the fifth visit. Those rounds of travel meant I lost more time and money.
Whenever there’s a sale or discount of some sort, when the word is spread, people would come from near and far to these happening events just to get a better deal or bargain. However, do you really save much from these sales or fairs?
During a recent PC Fair, I went there with a bunch of friends hoping to get myself a new laptop. The journey to our destination took us around an hour by car. Upon our arrival, we could see that a very large crowd had gathered for the event which recurs three times a year. We had a tough time looking for a parking space. The crowd is probably here for the same reason, to get a good bargain.
After looking around, I found a laptop from a dealer which was slightly cheaper price than usual. The laptop comes with some cheap freebies; mouse, rolex replicas, mouse pads, Kensington lock and some other smaller items. I paid a down payment and left with the freebies.
Taking all this into account, I could’ve saved myself all the trouble and get my laptop from a nearby dealer instead. If only I had took these hidden price into consideration earlier.
