I have planned to be on diet for this month. Morning two bread toast, afternoon some veggies and evening salads. But I can’t stand the tiredness, so I have decided to add a bottle of strawberry and banana milk every alternate day. Will it increase my weight?

Instead of the milkshakes, try a handful of nuts which are believed to boost blood sugar levels, increase your metabolism through doing this and curb hunger pangs.
You need to snack throughout the day to make sure you don’t feel worn out, tired of sluggish.
For breakfast I suggest you eat a piece of brown bread with half a tin of beans or a mixed fruit salad with a few tablespoons of low fat yogurt. Try to include lots of fibres through fruit at breakfast as it will make you feel fuller for longer.
For lunch you can try home made soup or a jacket potato with a low fat cheese topping, the reason you are feeling tired is because you are not getting enough carbs.
Avoid white breads, pasta, potatos (in moderation) and instead stick to complex carbs such as brown rice, noodles and brown bread. You will feel all the better for including them.
You can eat roasted vegetables for dinner and a stir fry.
Make sure you snack though. Fruit, nuts, low fat yogurts, cereal bars and smoothies are great ways to keep your energy up.
I would avoid the milk though, it won’t help and it full of fat.

i suggest to do yoga pranayams with baba ramdev in the morning then one hour fresh walk and eat whatever u want .it takes only 2 hrs a day .do it and forget dieting because it will not last and then u start gaining weight faster.

  3. It’s really not that different from regular or chocolate milk. Make sure its 1% or 2% fat.
